A graduate of The Art Institute of Seattle Video Production program, he is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a Public Affairs Specialist from 2003 to present, both on active duty and as a reservist. Over his career he has excelled at everything from marketing, media facilitation, crisis-communication, broadcast facility management, and community relations for the Army all over the world. In 2008 he was recognized by the Department of the Army as the Broadcaster of the Year. In 2014 he oversaw the production of the U.S. Army Central quarterly magazine which was named Best Army Funded Publication. When he’s not behind a camera or in the editing booth you’ll find him spending his free time casting his fly rod or soaking up the sun on top of a mountain.

A graduate of the University of Montana with a Masters of Fine Arts degree in cinematography, he has been a successful and highly sought after freelance cinematographer in Western Montana. He has worked on several commercial and independent productions which have taken him all over the Western United States and as far as the other side of the Pacific. Within the last few years he has developed a reputation as a talented drone pilot and aerial cinematographer and has worked on several projects for the Montana Department of Commerce’s Visit Montana video campaign as an aerial cinematographer. Practically raised on the river, he spends much of his free time on the water fishing, floating, relaxing.
